Introducing: Marketing Matinée

Those of you who follow my social media channels will have seen this already, but I wanted to introduce the concept here on the blog for my business too. I've created a social media campaign I've called "Marketing Matinee", bringing together my love of the theatre industry and my marketing background and skillset.


I've separated the campaign into three separate segments, each with its own focus:


Theatre Marketing 101: These are insights, tips and tricks around effective marketing, especially within theatre.


The Evolution of Theatre Marketing: Exploring the evolution of theatre marketing through different eras in history, examining specific examples and fun facts to see the lessons we can learn.


Masterful Marketing (The Secrets of A Show's Success): This segment will delve into the marketing strategies of select theatre productions and examine how their targeted decisions can significantly contribute to a show's success.


The idea is that these will be posted regularly on my social channels in a shorter form, and here on the blog we can dive a little deeper. (I'm aiming for Wednesdays at 2:30pm- traditionally midweek matinee time in the theatre industry) My hope is that the campaign will be a way for me to indulge my love of research, share my passion and entertain you, and ultimately demonstrate how Curtain Call Consultancy can help support you and your business, whether you're in the theatre industry or otherwise!


First up: we'll introduce Theatre Marketing 101!
